What’s new in this version
- Initial universal release (only iPad 2 is officially supported)
- Includes all the capabilities of the PC version (including character customization and virtual boat features)
- Uses virtual joystick and touch controls for player and boat navigation

What’s new in this version
- Free navigation: you can test water qualities everywhere.
- New GUI: Stable, simple, uniformed, and runs well in different machines with different resolutions, (high to low resolutions).
- Only one objective icon (click it to get detailed information), no more complex objective list.
- Only show mini map in navigation mode.
- New data diagram with dynamic data.
- Soundclips for interesting locations (not required to test locations following an order any more).
- Note: the size is about 48MB, thus it may take a few minutes to load the game at the first time.

We have released the latest version of the Virtual Boat Game at 10.10.2011.
Play Version 11.1010 (Release date: 10-10-2011)
New features include a coordinate system showing the coordinates of each location on the higher left corner of the game and a new GIS like map represents the real terrain on the lower right corner of the game.
BooKS boat trip
Boat trip is an activity in BooKS project to provide high school students a chance to explore the water quality of Ohio river region. High school students take the boat to a water sampling position either on Ohio river or Muskingum river. By using instruments provided by BooKS project, students do hands-on experiments to test water quality including PH, temperature, conductivity, total dissolved solids, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, etc.
